Join the team at Jodrell Bank for an unmissable opportunity to get started in astronomy. You’ll learn how to navigate the skies and locate the stars in our inflatable Planetarium, as well as using a variety of tools from planispheres to telescopes, and enjoy demonstrations throughout the evening too.
Along with the Discovery Centre’s own team, Macclesfield Astronomical Society will be on hand with telescopes and binoculars to use throughout the evening. Observation of the night sky will be weather permitting.
The Planet Pavilion Cafe will be open from 5pm, serving delicious and hearty pizza and pasta dishes. Recommended for ages 10+
