Join members of Worthing Astronomers for this free public stargazing event in Mewsbrook Park. There will be a variety of telescopes setup to, weather permitting, observe some fascinating objects in our night skies including the Orion Nebulae, Seven Sisters and the Andromeda galaxy. This event will go ahead only if the weather is clear so do check with the event organisers before travelling.

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
