
Stargazing in the Cemetery

Join us for Stargazing In The Cemetery where you will learn the basics and get hands on with telescopes. We’ll be hosting this event in the atmospheric Samuel Worth Chapel where we’ll be serving cakes, hot drinks, wine, beer, and mulled cider.
The evening will consist of two talks and an opportunity to look through some of Sheffield Astronomical Society’s amazing telescopes which will be set up on the Cemetery green space (Montague Street).
This will be a chance to chance to look at Jupiter, The Orion Nebula and some star clusters.
This event is for adults and kids (recommended age 8+). All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
