Station Inn Stargazing at Ribblehead
Saturday 19th February 2022 from 20:00pm to 22:00pm
Station Inn - Ribblehead
Ribblehead, Carnforth, Lancashire, LA6 3AS
Experience the fabulous starry skies above Ribblehead with astronomers Neill and Dr Fred from Go Stargazing and astrophotographer Pete Collins from Diamond Skies.
Enjoy an astronomy presentation from the comfort of the pub, then head outdoors for a laser-guided tour of the night skies and observe amazing objects through large aperture telescopes.
If the skies are clear, you can also enjoy a short stroll to take pictures of the nearby Ribblehead Viaduct, which will begin to be illuminated by Moonlight during the mid-evening.
Event tickets include a hot broth and hot refreshments. Perhaps you might arrive early and have dinner in the Station Inn, maybe make a night of it and stay over!?
This event takes place as part of the Yorkshire Dales Dark Skies Festival 2022.
