Timed to follow the BBC’s Stargazing Live TV show on the same week, the Cardiff Astronomical Society will be opening its observatory to the public.
Officers from the Cardiff Astronomical Society will be on hand to present a tour of the night sky and there will also be manned telescopes as well as plenty of stargazing information and advice from experienced astronomers.
In the event of bad weather on the day, the event will still continue with members of the Society available to answer any questions.

No age restriction, but age guidance of 6+
Dogs on leads are welcome.
*Parking will be in the Visitor Car Park. It is a 5 minute walk uphill to the Observatory.
*Bring torch, hat, scarf and gloves.
*The buggy will be available to visitors with disabilities. It will drive a circular route, picking up along the way.
Note: Members need to bring their cards to be scanned on the gate.
