Learn more about the sky at night with guidance from the Shropshire Astronomical Society. In this exclusive out-of-hours session you can explore the stars above the RAF Museum Midlands and learn how to use a telescope and understand the constellations above us.
You will also be able to take some time to explore the National Cold War Exhibition after dark and see our amazing collection come to life in the dark. Soak in the Vulcan, Victor and Valiant without the crowds and in the atmospheric evening light.
We will be providing some telescopes for this event however you are more than welcome to bring your own telescope/binoculars to this event if you wish.
We cannot guarantee the weather for this event, in the event of inclement weather a talk about star gazing will be held in the lecture theatre.
