Join the team at the World Museum, Liverpool, for a unique journey to the stars as we open late for our spectacular stargazing night on on Friday 8 November! Back by popular demand, our stargazing night is perfect for anyone with an interest in Astronomy and Space who is keen to discover more about the night sky and what it takes to make it as an astronaut!
Meet the experts and choose from five fascinating talks on varied topics presented by Professor Andy Newsam, Dr Kevin Bowman, Dr Jackie Bell, Steve Southern and Alan Cross. Explore the planets with a VR headset in our virtual reality demonstration, and if it’s a clear sky, stargaze through telescopes in our pop-up observatory.
There’ll also be fun and educational space craft activities for budding astronauts to enjoy, and exciting shows throughout the evening in our full dome planetarium.
Please note that this event has already taken place on 08/11/2019
