Stargazing at the Twice Brewed Inn

Saturday 23rd January 2021 from 20:00pm to 22:00pm

Twice Brewed Inn & Observatory

Bardon Mill, Hexham, NE47 7AN

Experience the incredible starry skies above Northumberland with astronomers from the Twice Brewed Observatory at the Twice Brewed Inn. Located within the Northumberland International Dark Sky park the venue benefits from minimal light pollution meaning that on Moonless nights you’ll have a clear view of the Milky Way arching across the sky and see thousands more stars than can normally be spotted from our towns and cities.

These events are ideal for beginners and novices with each group of guests given their own personal Dobsonian telescope and astronomers on hand offering friendly, expert guidance. Stargazing packages are available to include including dinner, bed and breakfast thus making a great opportunity for a weekend break to explore nearby Hadrians Wall, Vindolanda Roman Fort, Sycamore Gap and The Sill Landscape Discovery Centre all of which are within walking distance. Due to the popularity of these events early booking is recommended.

- Event includes an astronomy related presentation or talk.

- Event will involve stargazing and observing the skies through telescopes weather permitting
