Stargazing at Sutton Bank with Richard Darn
Saturday 8th March 2025 from 19:30pm to 22:00pm
Sutton Bank Star Hub
Sutton Bank National Park Centre, Thirsk, North Yorkshire, YO7 2EX
We are spending a night on the Moon and will use powerful telescopes to reveal mountain ranges, craters and lava flows! On this night our nearest neighbour parks itself next door to Mars in the sky making a magical conjunction. We’ll show you how to take pictures of the Moon for yourself with your smartphone like the one above. Remember we supply all the equipment needed to admire the heavens, including astro binoculars.
To make this event truly accessible we’ve reduced ticket prices. We want you to enjoy the stars without it costing the Earth!
