Steam and Stars
Samford Brett, Taunton, Somerset, TA4 4LJ
Join Steam and Stars for an evening of Stargazing next to the West Somerset Railway in the beautiful Sampford Brett countryside.
Trevor and Bee run a luxury glamping site, and they will be joined by astronomer Jo Richardson and her astrophotographer husband Pete, who will present an excellent stargazing talk, a display of award-winning astrophotography as well as the opportunity to hopefully look at and through a selection of excellent telescopes.
We will serve hot soup over charcoal and an abundance of warm drinks to keep the chill at bay. It promises to be a magical evening! This event will go ahead even if the sky is cloudy. Let’s hope it isn’t!
Arrive for a warm welcome and hot drink in our barn at 6.30 pm. Max 12 guests. Price Adults £5pp or free if you book to stay!
This event takes place as part of Exmoor Dark Skies Festival 2022.
Please note that this has already taken place on 27/10/2022
