Stargazing at RSPB Old Moor
Saturday 9th November 2024 from 17:00pm to 20:30pm
RSPB Dearne Valley - Old Moor
Broomhill, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, S73 0YF
RSPB Old Moor and Mexborough and Swinton Astronomical Society (MSAS) are combining astronomy with creatures of the night.
MSAS are bringing with them powerful telescopes and guide you through the night sky and they are also bringing with them an astronomical display and night sky computer atlas demonstrations in the activity centre.
We also have a very unique experience with night vision binoculars and thermal imaging cameras to look for mammals and birds at night with view points setup across the mere and the field pools.
There will be hot and cold drinks and snacks to purchase during the event.
Please note that this has already taken place on 09/11/2024
