Enjoy an evening stargazing under fabulous dark skies at the wonderful location of Near Howe.
With minimal light pollution, big open skies and dazzling starry displays the Lake District National Park enjoys some of the best stargazing opportunities in the UK.
You’ll enjoy an inspiring astronomical presentation by experienced astronomer Andy Gray at this event which is ideally suited for beginners and novices.
Then you’ll head outdoors for a laser guided tour of the constellations and use telescopes and binoculars to observe planets, galaxies, star clusters and galaxies.

This event takes place as part of the Cumbria Dark Skies Festival 2024.
