Syllu ar y Sêr ar Foel Famau

Ar unrhyw noson glir, mae rhyfeddodau di-ri yn aros amdanoch yn yr awyr. Gallwch weld galaeth 2½ miliwn o flynyddoedd goleuni i ffwrdd gyda’ch llygaid eich hunain, ac wrth ddefnyddio binocwlars, gallwch weld craterau ar y lleuad! Fel rhan o Wythnos Awyr Dywyll Cymru 2022, ymunwch â’r seryddwr lleol, Rob Jones, a’r swyddog awyr dywyll, Dani Robertson, am noson o syllu ar y sêr ar Foel Famau. Dewch i archwilio cyfrinachau a gwyddoniaeth awyr y nos, dysgu sut i adnabod cytserau a chael eich cyfareddu gan harddwch a dirgelwch ein bydysawd anhygoel.

Cwrdd ym Maes Parcio Bwlch Pen Barras, Moel Famau. Dewch â thortsh, gwisgwch esgidiau addas a dillad cynnes. Addas ar gyfer pob oed.

Mae’r digwyddiad AM DDIM, ond mae’n rhaid archebu ymlaen llaw.

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.

The below chart shows if and when the skies will be at their darkest during this event. Moonlight is shown in light yellow and the Sun's twilight in light blue. Midnight on the date shown is shown as a white line with sunset to the left and sunrise the next morning to the right. A black background with stars shows the best times for stargazing.
