Star Gazing at Findon Place
Saturday 1st March 2025 from 19:00pm to 21:00pm
Findon Place
Findon, Worthing, West Sussex, BN14 0RF
Come and join us at Findon Place to enjoy the fabulous Dark Skies above the Southdowns National Park with enthusiastic astronomers from the Worthing Astronomers Club. Using a selection of portable telescopes you’ll be guided around the cosmos.
Stargazing experiences are ideal for anyone interested in astronomy and getting outside into the great outdoors. It’s good fun exploring the Universe with the help of experienced astronomers, learning to navigate the constellations and observing incredibly distant objects through large telescopes.
You’ll gain valuable knowledge and skills from astronomers and learn how to correctly set up a telescope and see stunning celestial objects. View and photograph some of the beautiful sights you see and enjoy this exciting experience together.
This event takes place as part of the South Downs Dark Skies Festival 2025.
Please note that this has already taken place on 01/03/2025
