Special Event for St. Wilfrids Starlight Stroll
Free Public Observing at the Redoubt Napoleonic Fortress on Eastbourne Seafront. Observing will be on the Gun Platform with members of the Eastbourne Astronomical Society through various society telescopes. Astronomical presentations will also be available in a downstairs Casement (especially in the case of rain!) and coffees and teas will be available from the Redoubt or Pavilion Cafe.
Anyone can bring along a telescope if help is required to make best use of it. Enter via the drawbridge from the main road. Observing will be accessible to children and wheelchair users, albeit up the steep access ramp from the main road.
