Norman Lockyer Observatory

The South West Astronomy Fair is a great opportunity to visit the fabulous Norman Lockyer Observatory near Sidmouth. The event includes free tours of the historic telescope domes, planetarium shows, a series of lectures by guest speakers and a programme of events and presentations by the astronomy groups who work at the facility. Also attending the event will be various trade stalls, local Astronomy Societies.
It’s a great day out for the whole family whilst also at the same time supporting this fantastic observatory. Tickets can be booked in advance or purchased on the day.
