The South Shields Astronomical Society meet (most) Thursday evenings in the Block L Lecture Theatre at South Tyneside College. The group are very social, and their meetings are open to everyone. There is often a presentation with a chance to discuss the latest space news and find out about the group’s observing activities at Souter Lighthouse.
