Come and view our nearest star (the Sun) SAFELY through specialist and purposely designed telescopes. All life on Earth depends on it!
Cardiff Astronomical Society will be at the Brecon Beacons National Park Visitor Centre, Libanus, on Saturday, September 24th, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. for the public to do SAFE solar viewing and view some sunspots, prominences, or flares.
There will be plenty of information available courtesy of the Science and Technology Facilities Council to help you understand what you are observing. There is no need to book and the event is FREE.
