Solar Observing at Dyffryn Gardens
Sunday 11th June 2023 from 11:00am to 16:00pm
Dyffryn Observatory
Dyffryn Gardens, St Nicholas, South Glamorgan, CF5 6SU
Astronomers from the Cardiff Astronomical Society will be on the lawns of Dyffryn Gardens with our Solarscopes! We hope to see Sunspots and perhaps prominences! While observing the Sun safely, you can learn how Sun powers the Northern Lights! This will be an informal session; come look at the Sun safely and learn something new while enjoying the Dyffyrn Gardens grounds. Please note our friends run Dyffryn Gardens at the National Trust. You must purchase an entry ticket or present your National Trust membership card.
Please note that this has already taken place on 11/06/2023
