Explore the Sun safely with expert astronomers from the fantastic Blackett Observatory on the grounds of Marlborough College. Using special solar telescopes, you’ll be viewing our closest star in amazing detail, seeing sunspots, prominences and solar flares. Tickets are first come, first served and will go quickly; we advise quick booking!

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
