Join Mansfield and Sutton Astronomical Society astronomers at the fantastic Sherwood Observatory for an evening of stargazing and exploration!
Enjoy a short presentation on astronomy and then experience amazing views of the Moon and deep-sky objects such as star clusters, galaxies and nebulae through their huge 24″ aperture reflecting telescope.
Novices and families are very welcome. Refreshments and cakes will be available. Tickets are reasonably priced and must be purchased in advance, with all income used to support the observatory.
This is a great way to spend an evening even if the weather doesn’t play ball!
