The National Railway Museum in Shildon hosts an exhibition from 22nd November 2017 to 15th January 2018 featuring the actual Soyuz spacecraft that returned British Astronaut Tim Peake to Earth! You can even experience this 400km journey yourself in Virtual Reality!

The event this evening also features stargazing and observing through telescopes in collaboration with Durham Astronomical Society -- weather permitting of course! In addition see the International Space Station fly over at 18:30!

And it's free of charge! (small additional cost for VR experience)
