The Solent Amateur Astronomers are planning an observing session at their Toothill Observatory for the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. This event is weather dependent; a final decision will be made and posted to their Facebook page around Saturday lunchtime. Bring a deck chair, a flask of coffee, something warm to wear and binoculars (if you have them). Suggested donation: £3, accompanied children free. Everyone welcome!
