Saturday 12th August 2023 from 21:00pm to Sunday 13th August 2023 02:00am
The Beacon Observatory - University of Kent
Kent Community Oasis Garden, Canterbury, Kent, CT2 7NZ
Enjoy an evening observing the Perseid meteor shower (and whatever else is visible in the sky) with the friendly astronomers from the Beacon Astronomy Group.
The Perseids are a popular shower to watch because they are in the summer and reliably deliver plenty of meteors, provided the sky is clear.
Perfect for young and old alike, all welcome, no experience necessary, no fee.
This outdoor event is weather-dependent. Please check the group’s Facebook page for weather updates about 2 to 3 days before the event.
Please note that this has already taken place on 12/08/2023
