See the partial eclipse at Boscombe Overcliff Nature Reserve
Tuesday 25th October 2022 from 10:00am to 12:00pm
Boscombe Overcliff Nature Reserve
Boscombe Cliff Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH5 1LN
Join local astronomer Kate Earl to observe the partial eclipse from the clifftop. We hope to project an image of the Sun onto a screen and view the Sun safely through a telescope using filters. Feel free to come along at any time, but the best visibility is at 10.55 am. This is a partial eclipse, with only a tiny bit of the Sun covered by the Moon, but it’s still quite spectacular!
*Remember, never look directly at the sun with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope*
This event takes place as part of the Parks In Mind festival, please book your space by contacting [email protected] or call/text 07485 039397.
See more details on our guide to viewing the partial eclipse on the 25th of October.
Please note that this has already taken place on 25/10/2022
