See the Leonid meteors at Sutton Bank Star Hub
Saturday 18th November 2023 from 19:30pm to 22:00pm
Sutton Bank Star Hub
Sutton Bank National Park Centre, Thirsk, North Yorkshire, YO7 2EX
This event is near the maximum of the Leonid Meteor Shower. These spectacular shooting stars are caused by cosmic debris burning up in the atmosphere and leaving behind a stunning trail. But there’ll be other wonders too, including amazing Jupiter and Saturn, along with the Autumn constellations.
The Star Hub at Sutton Bank provides a warm indoor space for colourful presentations with a purpose built viewing area alongside. If it’s cloudy we will still see stars thanks to a brilliant computer based planetarium show.
Please note that this has already taken place on 18/11/2023
