See the June 2021 partial eclipse with Heaton Park Astronomy Group
Thursday 10th June 2021 from 10:00am to 12:30pm
Heaton Hall
Heaton Park, Prestwich, Lancashire, M25 2SW
Heaton Park Astronomy Group will be hosting an event in front of Heaton Hall to help people watch the eclipse safely. We will have special solar telescopes set up, and also a limited number of eclipse glasses to hand out – one per household, first come first served!
Covid precautions will be observed, with strict social distancing and anyone wishing to look through a solar telescope will have to sanitise their hands first and wear a fresh face mask. Sanitiser and face masks will be provided.
Small voluntary donations to help cover the cost of eclipse glasses, sanitiser and face masks would be appreciated.
Please note that this event has already taken place on 10/06/2021
