See Planets galore and a rising Moon!

Five planets and the moon will be on view on a night when the solar system takes centre stage. Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Saturn will be amongst our targets using powerful telescopes and given clear weather we will take a trip to the moon to see mountains and craters. There’ll also be a colourful interactive planetarium tour.
The Star Hub at Sutton Bank provides a warm indoor space and a perfect viewing area. It was built as part of the successful bid to designate the North York Moors National Park as an international dark sky reserve. Wear sensible outdoor footwear, wrap up warm and bring binoculars if you have them (but we’ll provide the telescopes!).
