Rum and the Cosmos stargazing experience
Saturday 26th March 2022 from 12:00pm to Sunday 27th March 2022 12:00pm
Rum Bunkhouse
Kinloch, Isle of Rum, Isle of Rum, PH43 4RR
Enjoy an immersive stargazing experience weekend on the Isle of Rum, where you can see the cosmos in amazing detail due to the incredibly dark skies on the island. The break is suitable for a broad audience, and no prior knowledge of astronomy is needed.
Your stargazing guides for the weekend, Steven & James, will use the immersive environment of the planetarium and a wide array of telescopes to deliver a weekend of stargazing in a fantastic location. So join us on an incredible voyage of discovery!
Steven & James own and operate Cosmos Planetarium and regularly travel around Scotland and the rest of the UK to promote astronomy, space and dark skies.
A pop-up mobile dome will be in the village hall during the stargazing weekend, giving an immersive 360° virtual window on the cosmos – whatever the weather, you will be able to enjoy a tour of the night sky in the planetarium.
Please note that this event has already taken place on 26/03/2022
