Enjoy a mindful stargazing retreat to the Loire Valley at this fabulous family-run 14th-century farm. Your host, Sam, will offer you the warmest of welcomes, and you’ll soon feel part of his family that has renovated the farm over the past 30 years. Your guide for the 5-day event is Mark Westmoquette, former astrophysicist and astronomer turned yoga and Zen teacher.

This retreat will combine a mixture of activities centred around mindfulness during the day and the night. Practices will include Zen Meditation, Yoga and Qigong based on the season’s energy.

Mark’s yoga works on the body’s energy meridian lines, which are traditionally associated with different times of the year. For an evening, you’ll participate in Mindful Stargazing under the beautiful dark skies of rural France.

The retreat is for five days, with three meals per day included. Optional excursions, including to the nearby Chateau du Rivau, are offered.
