Anyone with an interest in Astronomy is invited to join the enthusiastic and welcoming members of Preston and District Astronomical Society for this one of their regular monthly meetings that (usually) take place on the second Thursday of each month (except December). These events involve a talk or presentation on various astronomical themes and a look through the observatory telescope if weather permits.
- Event will involve stargazing and observing the skies through telescopes weather permitting
- Event run by a local astronomical society often involving an in-depth presentation by a guest speaker often with observing afterwards if weather permits. Most societies welcome members of the public to join them sometimes for a small fee or donation.
