Staindrop, Barnard Castle, DL2 3AH
August 12th 2019 sees the peak of one of the most prolific meteor showers of the season, the Perseids. Join expert astrophotographer Gary Lintern for this exclusive access event to Raby Castle for night photography, both inside and out. The Moon will be up, which does affect visibility of some of the meteors, but many of the Perseids are so bright, that they can still be seen and photographed clearly. These events are ideal for photographers of all experience levels.
- Event offers guidance and tuition on how to take night-time photographs using a camera and tripod or using a telescope in place of a camera lens.
This event is being organised by Gary Lintern Photography who should be contacted if you have any queries. We highly recommend you confirm this event is indeed going ahead before travelling. If you do attend it would be fantastic if you could let the organiser know you found them via Go Stargazing!
