Wynyard Planetarium & Observatory
Thorpe Thewles, Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham, TS21 3JG
The annual Perseid meteor shower peaks each year around the 12th August with possibly dozens of shooting stars to be seen each hour. With free stargazing events taking place on the evenings of 11th and 12th August this is a great opportunity to escape from the worst of Teeside’s light pollution and join astronomers at Wynyard Planetarium and Observatory for what has been in previous years quite a spectacle! No booking needed just turn up on the night!
Please note that this event has already taken place on 12/08/2017
