Perseids Meteor Night with Wells and Mendip Astronomers
Saturday 12th August 2023 from 19:30pm to 23:30pm
Priddy Village Hall
Priddy, Wells, Somerset, BA5 3BE
Observe the peak of the Perseids meteor shower with the friendly members of the Wells and Mendip Astronomers. The evening starts with a small talk by Mark McIntyre, Meteor Section Director for the Society for Popular Astronomy, who will guide us in observing and photographing meteors best. Weather permitting, we will spill outside to watch the Perseid show, so bring a blanket or a deck chair to take in the sky. Visitors are very welcome. A small fee applies to non-members.
