Penbont House Tearooms, Bed and Breakfast
Penbont House, Elan Valley, LH6 5HS
See the most spectacular meteor shower of the year from one of the UK’s best stargazing destinations.
Enjoy a light supper at Penbont House, followed by a talk by Dave Eagle (FRAS) about how you can get started in your stargazing adventure and what equipment to buy.
If the skies are clear, you will head up to the remote, dark site on Tynllidiart Hill via an old forestry track and spend the evening watching out for Perseid meteors or ‘shooting stars’.
There will be an opportunity to do some stargazing through telescopes with our helpful stargazing team.
