Stargazing on Westleton Common with members of DASH (Darsham and Surrounding Hamlets) Astronomical Society. Members of the public are very welcome to join in — if the weather is bad the event will instead take place in the nearby Westleton Village Hall.

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
