Join the friendly astronomers from Luton Astronomical Society for this observing evening in Putteridge Bury where guests will be able to view Jupiter and Saturn low in the South from 9pm. Meet in the main car park from 8pm (last observing admission 8.30pm) observing will be subject to clear skies.

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
