Everyone is welcome to join the friendly astronomers from the Irish Astronomical Association (IAA) for a stargazing session in Delamont Country Park.

Members bring a range of telescopes for you to look through, including large telescopes suitable for viewing deep-sky objects. These sessions cater for all levels of capability, and beginners of all ages are welcome.

Please note that these events occur with a degree of flexibility to accommodate variable weather. The preference is for the event to occur on Friday night, with the option of moving to Saturday and may move to a reserve date later in the month if both nights are clouded out.

Notice as to whether this event will take place tonight will be updated on the IAA website at 6 pm on the day of the event.
