Delamont Country Park Campsite
Downpatrick Road, Killyleagh, County Down, BT30 9TZ
Everyone is welcome to join the friendly astronomers from the Irish Astronomical Association (IAA) for a stargazing session in Delamont Country Park.
Members bring a range of telescopes for you to look through, including large telescopes suitable for viewing deep-sky objects. These sessions cater for all levels of capability, and beginners of all ages are welcome.
Please note that these events occur with a degree of flexibility to accommodate variable weather. This event is a “reserve” event and will only occur if the previous stargazing this month was cancelled due to weather. The preference is for the event to occur on Friday night, with the option of moving to Saturday.
Notice as to whether this event will take place tonight will be updated on the IAA website at 6 pm on the day of the event.
Please note that this has already taken place on 28/10/2022
