Join the team from GC Astronomy Outreach for this special astronomical event! Using a special solar telescope you’ll be able to see our solar system’s innermost planet pass in front of (or transit) the Sun as seen from Earth. This is a free event with no prior booking required!

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
