Observe the partial eclipse with the Kernow Astronomers
Saturday 29th March 2025 from 10:00am to 12:00pm
Newquay Tretherras School
Trevenson Road, Newquay, Cornwall, TR7 3BH
In conjunction with Tretherras School, Newquay, the Kernow Astronomers and its members will be helping out to allow everyone to safely observe the Sun and the transiting Moon throughout the morning.
Because the Sun is never completely covered, observers must use proper eye protection at all times while watching this eclipse. With that in mind the school will be providing up to 200 eclipse safety glasses for the event.
Kernow Astronomer club members and the school will also have on hand a number of telescopes adapted to observe the Sun safely in both the visible and h-alpha part of the spectrum.
Please note that this has already taken place on 29/03/2025
