The Sill National Landscape Discovery Centre
Bardon Mill, Hexham, NE47 7AN, North East
Located within the Northumberland International Dark Sky Park the Sill is a fantastic location to spot shooting stars and this event is a great opportunity to get all of the family out under dark starry skies. Timed to coincide with the peak of the Orionid meteor shower the event includes a presentation about comets — whose dusty tails ultimately result in the shooting stars we see — then weather permitting outdoor stargazing. Wrap up warm! Booking required.
