Northern Lights and Starry Skies
Friday 18th November 2022 from 19:30pm to 21:30pm
Hemscott Hill Farm
Widdrington, Morpeth, Northumberland, NE61 5EQ
Join local astronomer Simon Rowland in beautiful Druridge Bay under the dark skies of Northumberland to watch for the Aurora. Solar activity is increasing, leading to more prominent displays of the Northern Lights, and tonight will be the best opportunity to see them for a while. We will assemble after dark and do some stargazing, led by his laser pointer while keeping an eye out on the horizon for what could be quite a show. Some camping opportunities exist for those who want to make a night of it. Please get in touch with [email protected].
