A nocturnal journey from Mallerstang to Marske under the beautiful skies of the Yorkshire Dales International Dark Sky Reserve.
Arrive early at the newly extended Dales Bike Centre Cafe with pizza specials, cake and hot drinks available from 17:00.
From 18:00, there may be an opportunity to view of Venus, Jupiter and a crescent moon in the early twilight.
From 18:30 – 19:30, as full darkness falls, we will visit many locations through the eyes of local nightscape photographer Paul Clark.
Weather permitting, this will be followed by night sky tours using telescopes manned by Reeth Informal Astronomy Group.
If cloudy, a virtual sky tour will be presented.
This event takes place as part of the Yorkshire Dales Dark Skies Festival 2023.
