Stargazing festival by North York Moors National Park

The successful North York Moors Dark Skies Fringe Festival returns for its 5th time in 2024, with many activities and opportunities to explore the region’s fabulous starry skies.

The North York Moors National Park achieved recognition for its low levels of light pollution, pristine dark skies, and commitment to keep things that way in 2020 by the International Dark Sky Association.

This exciting 10-day festival offers a range of events, including after-dark walks, stargazing breaks, planetarium shows, nighttime activities, photography workshops and stargazing sessions.
