Stargazing festival by North York Moors National Park
The North York Moors Dark Skies Festival in 2022 takes place from Friday, 18th February to Sunday, 6th March.
The festival is run in collaboration with the Yorkshire Dales National Park and includes a range of events that help celebrate the region’s fantastic dark skies. With venues spanning the entire park, you can enjoy stargazing with experienced astronomers, learn how to take photos of the night skies and experience wellbeing and mindfulness.
The International Dark-Sky Association awarded the North York Moors National park with prestigious Dark Sky Reserve status in 2020 to recognise the low levels of light pollution and amazing dark skies.
