Join experienced astronomer Richard Darn and friends for this inaugural star camp in the North Pennines. This event is ideal for families and novices who are welcome to bring along their own equipment (telescopes, cameras, binoculars) and receive expert tuition.
See the crescent moon through a telescope before it sets to reveal wonderful star-filled dark skies. Explore deep sky objects through large aperture instruments as well as a tour of the constellations, astronomical themed talks and daytime solar observing.
Booking is essential for what will be an awesome weekend of astronomy!
This event is taking place as part of the North Pennines Stargazing Festival 2018.
