North Pennines Observatory
The Old School House, Allenheads, NE47 9HR
Do you have a telescope that you do not really know how to use? Or would you simply like to get more out of the equipment you have? Join us to ‘tame your telescope’. Numbers are restricted to 10 people (everyone present must have a ticket).
There will be two trainers: Gary Lintern (experienced astrophotographer and the Chair of the North Pennines Astronomy Society) and Andy Gray (science education consultant, experienced astronomer and deep sky astrophotographer).
Now is the time to finally learn what that equipment you have can do, and to enjoy the rewarding hobby of astronomy. Wrap up warm and bring a red light torch (if you have one).
This event is taking place as part of the North Pennines Stargazing Festival 2018.
