Description

Spend a Sunday evening in the company of experienced amateur astronomers at the wonderful location of the North Pennines Observatory. Dr Fred Stevenson will talk about our own Solar System including the origins and characteristics of the planets... This evening offers a really good chance to observe such planets including Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars through large telescopes should the weather permit.

- Event includes an astronomy related presentation or talk.

- Event will involve stargazing and observing the skies through telescopes weather permitting
