Spend a Sunday evening in the company of experienced amateur astronomers at the wonderful location of the North Pennines Observatory. This will be a moonless evening so the focus will be on deep sky objects and the Milky Way. Fred Stevenson will present an introduction to cosmology and then observing using the telescopes looking as stars, nebulae, and other galaxies should weather permit. Registration required.
